Groups and Fellowship
-
While Sunday Services are the focus of our Worship activity, we also encourage church members to join one of our smaller Home Groups.
Home Groups meet weekly in friendly and comfortable settings and provide a less formal environment for bible study, prayer, friendship, encouragement and sharing.
Home Groups allow us to learn from one another and share experiences of how we are able to apply God's word in our own individual circumstances.
Different Home Groups meet on different days and at different times to cater for different lifestyles.
We hope you will be able to find a group that is convenient and appropriate for you.
We currently have seven groups that meet as follows:
Monday morning:
10:00am at St Peter’s Church
10.30am at St James’ Church
Tuesday evening:
7.30pm in Lancaster Road
8.00pm in York Road
8.00pm in Regent Close
Wednesday:
10.00am at St James
8.00pm at St James
For further details of Home Groups please contact the Parish Office.

Ladies Who Lunch is a regular opportunity for St James ladies to enjoy friendly company and conversation in one of the many excellent restaurants in Southport.
Venues are chosen for their accessibility, friendly atmosphere, their range of dishes and value for money.
Since we launched the lunches in 2012 up to 30 ladies each time have enjoyed meeting to dine in local restaurants, including Auberge Brasserie and Dolce Vita.
Originally intended for ladies who live alone (and over two-thirds of our 50+ mailing list fall into this category) we have developed into a friendly group where everyone is welcome. We progress through the days of the week so that all have a chance to attend.
If anyone would like to join us please contact the St James’ Office
